People say it’s not addictive but I do struggle to stop sometimes.
Not addictive in that you won’t form a chemical dependency. But anything can be psychologically addictive - weed, binge eating, video games, even going to the gym.
I kinda want to push back on this. If there is no chemical dependency whatsoever, why do some people have physical symptoms (insomnia, night sweats, lack of appetite are some of the more common) when quitting?
Don’t get me wrong, I like weed, and nicotine/booze/cocaine/heroin it ain’t. But flooding your system with exogenous cannabinoids surely has a biochemical impact (downregulation of your cannabinoid receptors), and so too does removing that input after you’ve been doing it long term. I don’t really know what to call physical symptoms related to what the endocannabinoid system helps regulate other than signs of chemical dependency.
Important to note, though, that unlike other substance dependencies it’s a reasonable bet cannabis withdrawls won’t kill you.
Yeah, its definetly addictive just not in the same physical intensity as opioids or alcohol.
The relaxaxing effect is very addictive. Once your brain associate the stress release with canabis you are hooked… May be solving societal issue, climat crysis and billionnaire crisys may help us to stop…
Yeah, the psychological addiction effects can be very strong with Cannabis, specially when used as a coping mechanism for dealing with day-to-day dread.
Cannabis removes the pain and nausea and helps me relax and focus.
Going without it for 36 hours now has been absolutely AWFUL. I feel like shit on a stick.
But I gotta pass that pee test, so…
They definitely do not sell fake urine, and it definitely doesn’t work. Wink wink.
I was told that they are detectable nowadays, so I’m afraid of using it.
Don’t these people have better things to do than figure out ways to detect fake urine? It’s just weed guys. Idk when that changed, but I have used it successfully in the past without issue. My most recent one was maybe 3 years ago for context.
Depends on what life is making me tolerate
