If you’re upset you saw your face in a visual in a concert, but not in a situation to deny you rights, freedoms, or to catalog you into a demographic for a custom price increase or deny you employment, or living spaces, you’re upset about the wrong edge of a two edged sword, because all tech is that.
Social media erupted with bewildered reactions from attendees. Some praised the band for forcing a conversation about surveillance that most people avoid, while others expressed discomfort with the unexpected data capture.
I doubt they’re anywhere near as uncomfortable as they should be given the omnipresent mass surveillance by governments who condone genocide, while creeping towards fascism.
