If you post more than lurk (or even do just posting and no lurking) its a bit easier because you get to sort of curate your audience and its expectations way more.
Honestly, i spend little to no time actually lurking, I think Lemmy for me is less lurk-friendly because the content is still relatively small-pipeline compared to like Reddits possible subreddit audience sizes but I’m also very intentional reader when it comes
to new content I feel like wading thru
