I have a nonexistent pain tolerance and awful muscle pain from exercise, that probably shouldn’t be this overbearing to regular people.
All I get is just the usual “no pain no gain” bullshit and a pain so overpowering it temporarily disables me. Tried some gel for this kind of pain, does not seem to work for me for this exact pain. It seems I have some variation of the usual collagen-related disorder most other autistic people also have.
Assuming Physio is a physiologist, I’ve never heard of myo, or myologist? Now I have a new doctor type to look up. (I keep too much tension in my shoulders, and legs recently)
Edit: I’ve worked with an osteopath before and I’d say it helped symptoms, and even helped them for a while, but I’m now 6-8 weeks from my last appointment and really feeling it again. (Thanks for the reminder to schedule something)
Physio = physiotherapist, myo = myotherapist. Here in Australia they’re separate professions, but I understand in the US there’s an overlap.
