Yeah imo it’s below the minimum even, I am from eastern Europe and the corruption here is so blatant very few people have the illusion that voting works.

Being from the “more civilized” west means you don’t see the corruption, but it’s still there.

There is a reason fascists always want to limit voting, because it’s one way of fighting back, even if it’s not the best way…

considering they stole the last election by tampering with voting machines and ballots, using a laundry list of other shitty tactics, and will have years to set up shop and do it all again. with even better technology through AI and all the tech bros united to maintain the administration. and even more time to root out troublesome law makers, and make new laws om a whim to basically do whatever they want, including dismantling the constitution, and dusting off the insurrection act.

voting for local government is nice, i guess. as long as your representative doesnt make any waves and gets arrested on false charges or worse. gets killed by a MAGA nut job dressed as a police officer (again)

a landslide election result for democrats in the the next (unfair) election does not mean there will be a democratic president. it just means wasted time pretending the status quo still exists.

7 million people marched for no kings. if only occasionally holding up traffic while being guided by police officers was the way to dismantle fascism. violence, historically speaking, is the only way to get rid of fascism, as its the only language they understand.

ironically its what he wants, he wants everyone to rebel so he can bring out the insurrection act, and not have to worry about faking elections ever again. so basically we can either watch and wait while he errodes democracy and human rights day after day, passing more and more laws that make it legal for the race war that is happening to continue, to go after LGBTQ folks, autistic people and people with disabilities, arresting political leaders, and military leaders, replacing them with more yes men.

or we start shooting back, and he enacts the insurrection act, and hes hoping that the military will go along with it under hegseth. but i did not see loyalty during that “meeting of military minds” i imagine that once this point comes the military, police, etc is likely to split a bit. and then its full blown civil war. which is why ICE just bought fucking missiles in preparation.

either way, once it starts, we’ll have no choice but to see it through. everyone will have no choice but to get involved, and it ends with trump hiding in a bunker underneath the white house, with a friendly looking pistol, just like hitler.

thats the happy ending. unless someone just pops the guy right now. thats the ending we can look forward to.

I’m miffed you used Son Goku, an anarchist, instead of anyone in the Brief family (Sold weapons to Imperial Japan, and other countries), or even Dende ftm.

        Everything he did?
He never asked for permission or if what he did was legal. He never talked down or demanded respect, he just wanted a good fight. He befriended most of his enemies, saw them as peers. His transformations were tit for tat. He broke the “rules” all of the time.

Bejita on the other hand is a true authoritarian.

          Okay, sure…

But he also didn’t try to dismantle the systems that made folks fight in the first place nor the hierarchies on any of the planets etc he lived on/interacted with, and his close intimate relationships didn’t seem that anarchist.

So maybe closer than some but didn’t go far enough.

I think you’re confusing a revolutionary for an anarchist.
Son Goku, in every JtþW parody, has always been the anarchist relief. He got tamed, even in Dragon Ball. He fought fascists, dictators, imperialists, deities, and masters.
In the end, Bloomers/Tang Sanzang, the liberal, won exploiting everyone, even in the original timeline. In Daima, she’s quite literally the heroine.

I am an anarchist, anarchists are against hierarchy, that’s what the word means.

He had the power to dismantle hierarchy, he should have used it.

Edit: Good to know he did fight those folks though, but if you’re not at least trying to dismantle the systems that created them, then you’re not actually an anarchist.

Anarchists want to get rid of the systems of control, power and hierarchy which cause the problems in the first place, not merely to continously fight the ‘bad guys’ but do nothing about them being created.
