I work alone building stuff, because I like doing it my way without compromises.
If you work with others, the result is influenced by wanting to make everybody happy, so it becomes a mix of good and bad decisions, and average quality software.
You can totally tell when something was designed by committee. Lack of consistency in flow and purpose.
