Winter burrow on steam is being released today, (Nov 12th). I went to the forums to see complete chaos. People arguing and calling out the developers about using sweet baby inc. and hiding it, others wondering what the big deal is like myself. It could just be the anti woke gamers, but there were other complaints. I got the demo and I think the game is amazing, and am not understanding why it’s such a flash point. If anyone has some context, that would quell my curiosity. I’m probably getting it later today, regardless.

There isn’t any more. Honestly, it’s just you. You can keep commenting to no end, but my kindness does expire. No one is going to want to be part of your community if you don’t see a need for kindness. Why don’t you keep going? Maybe there is someone here who is the same sort of desperate. Maybe you can find them. This is why communication and communities exist.

Don’t starve like, not great, not terrible, at home in a Deck. Demo is appreciated. Attempts at viral marketing by stirring culture war, are not. It’s a European game, largely subsidised by Danish grants, their absence from the Danish diversity charter is kind of conspicuous in the face of this clunky attempt at going viral with US culture war BS… Someone should return their marketing degree and ask CBS their money back.

If you can recommend a cozy/farming game other than this, I’ll gladly return it if I don’t already own it. Otherwise their drama doesn’t really have anything to do with me.

That’s an interesting take, I don’t know why you decided not to lead with that.
