I dunno we are like 2 million people and have strong (informal) far left presence. I’m pretty sure something like that must exist, but idk how to find it.
I’ll try your idea of francophone groups.
Instagram is like 15 different things at once.
Its a messaging service with a TikTok like video service and a pixelfed like photo sharing service.
The TikTok ban law also applies to other apps owned by TikTok’s Chinese parent ByteDance, like Lemon8. ByteDance could be betting that regulators and app store companies are so focused on TikTok that they won’t pay attention to its other apps
If this actually happens it’ll be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
I loved her history show. (Cunk on Earth)
I have an energy limiting condition and need to manage my energy appropriately. These things massively help.
Hasn’t that endgame been pretty much reached?
cheers
Still doesn’t work. Perhaps it’s an issue on my end. Both the voyager and default frontends don’t let me. But I imagine issue is not linked to blahai if it worked for you, thank you for checking anyways. I’ll try to figure it out :).
It’s not letting me subscribe to “bready”. Weird…
And in French [email protected]
I never said they did. Just that they tended to be more correlated with quality than downvotes or replies.
Wait I shouldn’t trust them. I’ve fully switched to them as self hosting on my ancient device is too slow and i dont wanna use anthropic or openai frontends because I don’t trust them via data.
Possibly depends instances
My device is pretty old (7 years old now) so anything on my browser that is resource intensive (including lemmy) is extremely buggy.
As someone who (embarrassedly given today’s news) owns an apple device where the only functional lemmy app is voyager, makes sense I never noticed there were UI’s where metadata is shown ahah.
But there are ways to better incentivse it.
Ie. the default lemmy sort “active” takes replies, upvotes, and downvotes as “activity” and promotes posts that get a lot of any of them. This tends to promote controversial content.
If you sort by top, its instead only based on upvotes and the sort promotes less divisive and controversial stuff and more “quality” stuff.
Oh I didn’t know that. My UI doesn’t do previews.
makes sense. That helps thanks.
