One thing I do like about NextDNS is I installed it via flu on my UniFi router, and it reports client names correctly, so I can see in my account what device has had whatever blocked. Good for identifying rogue devices or software.
Thank you. I’ll check out the other service. I’ve had NextDNS for several years now, I’ve never needed to contact them and I have seen a couple of new options show up in the interface in the odd time a year I log in.
I was tempted by ControlD a few times but NextDNS suits my needs fine.

YouTube is hostile to viewers unless you pay them £20 a month.
It’s like 15 ads per 2 mins screen time with 2 being unstoppable and 1 being 3 minutes long. Slightly exaggerated but not far from the truth. It’s horrible. And they slow everything down too, the main video fake buffers whereas when you’re in premium it doesn’t.
I didn’t mind paying a fiver but had to do it via the moon to get it cheap but now they have stopped that.
Why they can’t just have turnstiles at the major stations ? I mean that’s how most places work anyway? If someone stays on for a further stop outside the stiles it’s only a short leg anyway.
