What issue are we talking about? US American imperialism, or wars in general? Because I think both have been discussed and talked about a lot since the seventies. And I don’t think that we’re getting anywhere close to an improvement, looking at what the US does to south americans in boats right now.
Talking is a good start, but what we need are actions. And education, but I am not sure how we could get any of them. Talking on Lemmy definitely doesn’t help a bit.

Wrong tests will make you feel safe. And in the worst case, the next developer that is going to port the code will think that somebody wrote those tests with intention, and potentially create broken code to make the test green.

Robots/automatisation will also bring job losses in the future. And losing a job is not a bad thing, when you do still have the ability to live without it.
I think the real issue at hand is that people can’t afford food without a job, and some have a hard time affording food even with a job.
