Give it a minute or two, wave around to shake the drops off and then lightly feel to make sure it’s not tacky. Im pretty impatient, so sometimes I don’t wait long enough.
I learned a lot from this set of instructions and the tips at the end. Especially capping/sealing and base coats. They’re talking about nail wraps – which I love – but I have use the same techniques with just normal color as well and had a lot more success.

I see some people mentioned gel. I have never successfully used gel, I’m just aware there are extra steps and a light or something to cure, but if you find that the polish is taking longer than 5 minutes per coat to be dry enough to pet the kitties, then you might have a gel polish. Those really require the light to cure (if I’m understanding correctly).

Believe it or not-- ice bath will set them faster. Also, recommend thinner costs and let each dry before the next.

Multiplying by two is a similar cognitive exercise to adding 10 in small numbers (for me) so it would really depend on which occured to me first.

I just noticed the theme from your krita self portrait and wondered how it might be haunting. But it’s really clear now, for sure. Maybe it is the humidity that causes that? I live in very humid areas and you must remove batteries if the device is not used for a while. These days, every once in a while pick up some object hoping I haven’t left batteries in it. I managed to collect probably 6 graphing calculators that I have no use for anymore – I use computers to do the graphing now – but somehow I still remember how expensive it was when I first bought them. And a label maker that definitely doesn’t work anymore because the batteries leaked, but I still packed and carried with me on a move just in case.

Nail clippers. Single socks.
I like your art. I noticed you had a battery in a self portrait too. Care to elaborate?

I love this game! So happy to see someone else linking it.

What kind of glue? I’m sure Elmer’s doesn’t cut it, some epoxies are probably toxic-- I haven’t hurt myself, just really curious.
