Because let’s be honest. Anyone who shotguns the Pinkertons, actual demons, and Nazis to death with no mercy to me is the holiest human in the land, unlike those “christians” who claim to be against those and yet consistently ally with them. 😤🙏✝️

Beating a debtor near to death wasn’t very Christian. I do appreciate a lot that Arthur does but that mission still haunts me. What a great story

I’m not THAT familiar with the story of RDR2, but I think Rockstar tries to do their best to show that Arthur is a very flawed man who can switch between doing good things to doing bad things in a whim (but also depending on the player’s actions). It makes him feel more human.

The mission I’m describing is unavoidable. I won’t spoil it, but it has serious consequences for both Arthur and the plot. It’s the kind of art that really punches you in the gut.

Tying up clansmen and turning them into red mist on train tracks, feeding them to gators, or just setting them on fire sure never did get old though.

While I appreciate the enthusiasm, you might want to read about pope Pius XII. and also about the ratlines after the second world war.

I don’t measure who is a “true christian/catholic” by what the Church does, I go by who follows the actual teachings of Jesus better. I’ve always abhorred organized religion.

While I can understand that stance for the christian label, the Catholics are organised religion and hierarchy through and through. If you don’t want organised religion than the reformation and the protestants should be more up your alley.

But that theological discussion is probably a bit outside of the gaming community, so let’s agree to pump the shotgun and exorcise demons. In that regard: what do you like more about Doom Eternal than Doom 2016? Because I like the latter one more, as it is more direct in it’s action.

Well I like both in different ways. Eternal is harder and more reliable in weapon swaps, but it’s also VERY fast paced (and as a CoD oldhead who doesn’t mind current movement in CoD, while I do wish it was a little slower or took more skill, it is very fun), and I personally LOVE when a singleplayer shooter has crazy movement. Doom 2016 however is a little slower but it’s still very good and I throughly enjoyed playing it!
