it’s somewhat better outside the corporate hellscape known as the US, some EU countries have even started pretty stark “public decluttering” initiatives to remove unnecessary/annoying advertising.

It is always good to see entities realizing that they can do better in this timeline. These ones knew the possibility was in the space, of course, but the local actualization is always good.
