    So many… I like the details, too. I remember when some of these happened, like when Telltale went out of business (and then upon coming back haven’t relisted).

    Quite a few just have remastered versions, which I have mixed feelings about. I feel like they should allow both from a preservation perspective, but I also wouldn’t want someone downloading the older version out of confusion.

      The Long Dark has a version manager where you can choose which version you want to play from the archives. It’s pretty great.

      Yeah wow, these explanations are so detailed. Most of them were delisted for server reasons as expected, but there’s a surprising amount of variety. My favorite reason was failing to pay the license fees for the engine they used. Not sure what I expected the consequences to be for that, but I didn’t realize you could get delisted from Steam.

        All that would require is a DMCA takedown request by the license-holder. Don’t pay the license fee, you’re effectively pirating the engine.
