About halfway through chapter 6 in Ys IX: Monstrum Nox.
Unlocked all chracters (at least from what I can see) and starting to learn what’s happening in the story.
Played some more of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Reached World 5. The game is pretty generous with bonuses (at least in the modern mode, don’t remember what they called it), have about 60 lives. Though I had reached 70+ lives and have come down from there, so the game is definitely getting more difficult.
For some reason I always though you can play with all the Kongs, like Diddy and Dixie too, but you can’t do that. Still, the added health and increased jump range helps when you have the second Kong with you.
What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?
Started Tunic but I’ve been deceived; the combat is souls-like. And I despise that.
I haven’t played it, but I have heard the combat is difficult. How much combat is there?
Unclear to me at this point, I’m less than an hour in. A few fights looked optional (I just ran by enemies) but others were not :/
The game is generally mentioned for its puzzles, so it’s possible there won’t be too much combat. Good luck!
