The guy is the CEO of several multi-billion dollar companies. The direction of those companies and all final internal decisions are the responsibility of the CEO. Yes he gets a large pay package, it was contractually guaranteed when he took the job as tesla CEO, but he still carries the responsibility of the fate of the company. Want to see how that works?
