Yes, you can. So can 49% of voters.

Whoever wrote this meme looked at brain-dead Joe Biden and somehow found the wherewithal to justify voting for him again even after his dementia was very publicly displayed.

…and they still let him get on a public microphone afterward.

Technically he’s a convicted felon (34 times over), but only an ajudicated rapist because he was found liable for rape in a civil lawsuit and not convicted of it in a criminal case. Having him as POTUS is still disgusting.

It was only not “rape” because in NYC it’s very specific. And since she couldn’t confirm if it was his finger or penis (lol) it’s not " rape", its sexual assault.

The rape is bad, but IMO it’s less relevant to his job as president than the attempted coup, the Georgia election interference case, his mishandling of classified documents, etc.

I wouldn’t be surprised if other presidents had been rapists, but I’d suspect few or none had betrayed their country as thoroughly as Trump.

You and the other 49% say that, but that’s the point I’m making.

You were able to look past literal dementia. You can clearly understand how people are able to adjust their perception so they see Donald Trump in a certain light, in this case as a strong man, despite the fact that he’s a fat, cognitively-impaired fascist who can’t walk the length of a football field without the assistance of a golf cart.

No one voted for Joe Biden twice, he wasn’t on the ballot in 2024. While he was looking like he would be everyone was screaming for him to fucking leave to let someone better and more capable take over, and when Kamala, who was not chosen through a primary, began courting the right and supporting genocide her momentum and the energy of the base fell flat on its face, too. The Democrats love losing and we know this because so many people tell them what they want to see and they specifically don’t do it knowing that they can usually pull the “we aren’t the GOP” card. And this time it didn’t even work for them.

Again, no one voted for Joe Biden in 2024.

Voting for the dems =/= up bidens ass when there are only two options to vote for.

Hell, dude, over 1/3 of the US voting population didn’t even vote.

Approx. 64% of people of voting age voted, and 49.9% of that number voted for Trump, so realistically,

If people of voting age make up 78.6% of the total population, And 64% of that amount even voted And 49.9% of that amount voted for Trump,

Then of the total US population, only approx. 25% of the American population actually voted for Trump.

          (78.6% x 64% x 49.9% = 25.1%)

And that doesn’t account for all the people who just voted for him because they were disillusioned with the dems.

So no, 49.9% of Americans do not think he’s strong.

Some fraction of 25% of Americans might

[Voting age population as of 2024-11-05: 267,400,939 Total estimated US population in 2024: 340,110,988

It certainly proved spending decades lobbying for lower corporate taxes turning public education into utter ruin made our society, and I use that term very loosely as we really aren’t, largely incapable of critical thinking and highly susceptible to confidence schemes.

Reminder: Americans believed slavery was just, genocide was just, segregation was just, and eugenics was just. Unless people are taught to critically think, reason, and empathize with their fellow humans, we are little more than feral beasts.

We should be pushing the DNC to open up the coffers and spend money polling AOC’s popularity, whe need to spend money on an imaging campaign, and poll the results.

We need to figure out how to build up popular candidates and policy. We let the republicans run our political narrative. I hope we can steal it back soon.

I guess the reason I don’t see them is that they’re all hounding you, then. Also I would never ask a Republican’s opinion on where someone falls on the political spectrum, they think center-right democrats are communists or somehow going to slippery slope the world there in under a decade while actively fighting most left-wing ideology.

The left doesn’t have a branding problem so much as people are stupid as hell and equally stubborn so trying to explain that the center is not, in fact, the extreme left just because the only other option is full-blown far-right fascism is a Sisyphean task. And here in Canada we actually do have three choices which is both better because we have choice and so much worse because even then we’re still considering the Conservative party valid despite all its major failures.

Communicating across political lines and ideologies is one of the most challenging things I do in a day. I trade complex derivatives for a living. Lots of calculus. I still don’t really know how to reach the far left or far right, but we need to because they are a growing force, and horseshoe theory turns them into a dangerous unified party.

People are stupid as hell because the dems rolled over in congress to George Bush and the republicans stripping education. People are also not that stupid. I find them to be scared, distracted, angry. Most of them understand complex concepts if you can voice them in their language. You have to avoid a mine field of triggering language. Many times they shut down and scream fuck joe biden. you have to back off let them breath and not push it.

At the end of the day part of our country has fallen for a cult of death and money. I still think we need to look at our countrymen like our family if we lost them to a cult. We have always had a branding problem because republicans are slowly winning the race to erase all progress since FDR.

We have lost the narrative. if i had a dollar for every time i heard a lib say “we can’t do that because it will hurt the people and blame it on us” i’d be rich and people would still be hurt.
