If it’s between Art Deco and Cubicle Glass And Steel, gimme that damned gold pinstripe filigree! A bit too sharp a detail material for my tastes, but at least it has some soul behind it! (and goes well with black, totally impartial on this one, honest:")
Oh! OH! If Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the aesthetic of our near future, I would NOT be disappointed, either! Renaissance mainly, sure, but those thin lines, smoky contrasts and overall vibe, that’s pure Art Deco influence to me. Neo-Noir by way of XVIth Century Venice!:)))
I wanna know what the weird shit they were doing in the 60’s and 70’s was called. Especially the rooms that have a faux outdoor look to them, like a fireplace but the entire wall is just a boulder.
if you like it, then i am :-) like i said, i really liked the art style and the story doesn’t seem half bad :-)
Since you said 5$, you probably directly bought from steam; isthereanydeal.com shows me that the humble store has it for 2,74$ for a steam key – GOG for 3$ if you want to go drm free – if you want to save 2 bucks!
it’s not THAT deep from what i saw, the price difference between CS and this is well deserved. But it’s pretty relaxing. just a shame that there isn’t an endless mode from what i saw.
Yeah, it’s hard to explain, it’s not to the gameplay, more, like… the overall vibe I get from it, maybe aesthetically, maybe atmospherically, something thereabouts:))
Honestly sounds kinda’ nice right now, too much Darktide…
Art Deco FTW!
I’ve always thought that a fusion of art deco and 90’s anime cyberpunk would look cool, but I have none of the skills to do it justice.
Edit: Someone mentioned Deus Ex Human Revolution, which is pretty close to what I’m describing.
How about Elizabethan cyberpunk that is Art Deco adjacent?
Takes a bit to get accustomed to the textures, but a fun adaptation.
I’m in.
Or at least the semifinals bracket with art nouveau surrealism and the one i can never remember the name of.
Yeah, that one!
Unironically do love Art Deco aesthetics.

Brutalist.

I stumbled upon a recent game called Technotopia in Art Deco style. It’s not my type of game, but i liked the optics very much!
Well, you just cost me $5. I hope you’re happy.

Thanks! It really does look neat! Getting heavy Cultist Simulator vibes, for some reason:-?
