That’s why I only go out at night. That way I only meet other freaks like me. And muggers, but you can’t have everything.

I’m not autistic (at least not diagnosed, tho I do have mild autism traits), but my partner is. We sometimes do shopping at night because it’s quieter, the lights are dimmed if it’s late enough, and there don’t tend to be children being brought around at night.

Be glad you don’t live in Germany. The nights are dead. No shops open (with very few allowed exceptions). Also Sundays and most of Saturdays

Strongly depends on your location. No shopping of course except for gas stations, train stations and airport.

Gas stations only if you just don’t like money and want to punish it 😁 Airport is nice-ish, but we’re like 30mine away from the nearest.

Well I live in the UK. ASDA, at least the local one, closes at 10pm, other than on Sunday, where it closes at 4pm.

Oh, I thought it’s 24/7 everywhere except here. Well, except here and the UK then. But at least you have Sundays to shop.

I can’t help but think that there has to be someone on the planet who is on the spectrum and their special fascination is mugging.

Who knows? I haven’t met anybody like that yet, but maybe it’s only a matter of time before I encounter… The Accountant.
