I’ve had both adderall and vyvanse. The vyvanse is an extended release and also a “prodrug,” meaning it is inactive until metabolized in the body, where it is converted into the active stimulant dextroamphetamine. So it’s more of a slow drip over the day. Adderall on the other hand is a pretty quick hit of dextroamphetamine. Me personally, I do better with the quick hit. I feel instantly more productive and then it fades over time. Sometimes I’ll take another right after lunch if I have a lot to do.
Is it the equivalent of Adderall?
I only know methylphenidate in France (ritalin/concerta/medikinet/…)
It’s called Vyvanse in America irc…
Adderall is a weird combination drug, similar maybe, but not an equivalent.

Sounds like a combination would be ideal, but I’m not an expert.
Similar, not exactly the same. Which works better differs per individual.
Methylphenidate has similar effects through different function.
It’s slow release too, so lasts 8 hours like concerta.
