Thanks, that’s a load off my mind. It doesn’t really sound true but the bubbling action of peroxide always seemed a little ominous. Easy to see how this rumor started, it could be generations old.

Not sure if this is true but someone once told me that using hydrogen peroxide on wounds of a certain size might lead to a bubble of gas appearing in the bloodstream, which would be undesirable. I dunno, I rinse my mouth with diluted h2o2 occasionally and might put it on a small scrape but I’m a little leery after hearing that. Also the “cauterizing” effect seems like it might slow healing or cause a more notable scar.

Easy enough to block the sports communities from your feed if you browse c/all if you dont like them. I say someone set up the sports communities and start posting articles to see if we can get more adoption by the sports folks over here. I dont have the patience for sports but more users is good. Some sports people are obnoxious but some certainly aren’t (Bill Bppurr comes to mind) and userbase growth is needed.

Are the waiters supposed to be recognizable charicatures? I’m looking at that grey faced one in the back with the illegible insignia on his lapel, that’s got to be someone a 1950s person would recognize, probably all of them as they’re very distinctive.
