  • I’m not familiar with Quora or other specific alternatives - when I said Lemmy is the biggest alternative, that’s just based on what I’ve heard elsewhere, such as the “Reddit Alternatives” subreddit.

    I can’t say I’ve experienced anything as bad as that kind of harassment - sorry to hear that. One thing you could consider is making a new account on beehaw.org - it’s Lemmy as well but with the goal of a safe, friendly environment, and they do a lot of deferating and moderation to keep it that way. So it would be a “smaller” Lemmy experience, but maybe a more pleasant one.

    As far as I know, Lemmy/Piefed/Mbin is the biggest alternative to Reddit, so if it’s too small for you, there may not be a good alternative.

    If you do want to stick it out, I’d recommend being liberal with blocking users you don’t want to see. I think there are a lot of good people here.
