The only episode of Survivor I have watched was the season 1 finale. From what I understand, that might still be a peak moment in the show’s history. I get the hype around things like that, but I can’t fathom sitting down for everything that leads up to it.

I’m… I’m not sure that’s really ADHD’s fault lol. I don’t think anyone can or should be able to remember more than 10 contestants on any reality show, really. They aren’t that important or memorable, lol

I legit only remember a handful of people who’ve been on 3-4 times. I love Survivor but have a hard time in Survivor threads, because people will be like, “Remember when Jim did this thing on Season 18?! That was so cool. He should come back for All-Stars!” I’m just like, who TF is Jim?

I get that. Coleen Haskell, ‘Boston’ Rob, and the Marines guy, were stand-out characters. Many of them, though, just fade into the noise like any other gameshow contestant does.

That’s 2 seasons per year. What the actual fuck?!? The difference between this and the boys, is indescribable. Viewing reality TV should be a much bigger red flag than it is.

Giving people reality TV ruined TV for everybody else, dumbed down America, and had a big hand in getting Donald Trump elected. So no.

I’d rather have unnecessary heart surgery than ever watch reality TV. It’s like someone I barely know giving a long story about people I don’t know at all, having a dinner. I can’t imagine a lower form of entertainment.

There’s like 2-3 watchable ‘reality’ TV series. Survivor has been watchable when I would try; the amazing race one as well. But they’re not narcissistic dreck where casuals are trying to be underpaid actors playing the worst people imaginable. They’re just game shows.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune are very affordable reality programmes too.

The rest of them are shite.
