I actually had a lot of fun this year, but even when it’s fun and casual, it’s just so tiring to be social for so long 😅. Go easy on yourselves today/tomorrow if you can.

Same, and now I have two cats on me. Winning
I starter SSRIs last month. With those and some support from my wife, I’ve gotten through this Christmas shockingly intact. Got my shopping done. Wrappped everything. Made breakfast for 9, and got the turkey in the oven before 10 am. Had a small period of overwhelm while everyone was opening gifts, but no meltdowns.

I did the whole present / semi-religious bullshit with my kids years ago, but thankfully we’ve all left that behind. Now it’s just another day of the year we get off because idiots believe in some bullshit. So happy day off because other idiots believe in same made up god day.
I would prefer to believe in days off as a fundamental human right, as well as a fair wage for a fair day, but you know, that’s unrealistic given the sacrilegious level of dumbing down going around the world.
