Unless you’re 5’11" or taller, in which case nothing will fit and you have to special-order everything and you don’t get to have the fun clothes-shopping experience everyone else gets to have.

I got lucky with this one. Started my transition at 5’10", HRT has made me 5’8".

Or if you’re composed mostly of shoulder. Like, i cant even wear most male-clothes, i can cross my arms and rip things in the back. Sucks. 🥲

Idk lately I’ve been finding it easier to find pants in my size as someone 5’11". And I’m leggy enough my shirts are just a women’s medium.

That said, I’m just awkward and usually by most of my clothes from thrift stores

I just have long arms lol. Anything medium would work if it wasn’t for the sleeves 🙃

All my best wardrobe finds have been from thrift stores too. Stuff from 30 years ago is more likely to be well made and have super-long sleeves, from what I’ve encountered.

we had great fabric 20-30 years ago. then there was the enplaidening. i’ve been able to find good fabrics again in one non-thrift store i can afford again and i hope it means shopping will be fun again soon.
