Minecraft is easy to pirate…but why? Well to answer you: there is 0 effort to pirate it, download the client.jar from mojang official APIs (which is totally FREE) and run the jar without using any valid session ID, done! What…that’s too easy, were is the catch? Well you can’t have a skin, you can’t play minecraft servers that don’t allow un-authenticated users and anyone can use the same user without any password
Is that really piracy? I mean i am using a free thing, not messing with microsoft shit - yes i did read mojang eula and no- it’s not against it.
So i wonder: can we just not call it piracy? Dunno…i leave the words to y’all!

It’s piracy. Companies put varying amount of effort into preventing piracy. MC sales are largely powered by people wanting to play together, so why bother making it difficult.

Also you made this post 4 times lol

I dont feel the need to tie myself into knots trying to dodge piracy or justify it. I pirate because i dont like these companies and dont want to pay for their product. It doesnt matter how easy it is to access all that matters is the licensing and the intent of the rightsholder to distribute it.

There is one more catch: you can’t play LAN games either without a valid session ID. (start singleplayer world -> ESC -> open LAN multiplayer)

You have to properly start a server so that you can change the conf to allow offline accounts.
