I was disappointed in how little Doctor Strange 2 felt like a Raimi film… I’m going to have to see this one.
Really? Cause I thought it felt too much like a Sam Raimi film, especially toward the end.
Really. I don’t know what I was expecting, but it just felt like every other Marvel film to me.
Meanwhile, I held the unpopular opinion of finding it just right
I could see that.
I didn’t hate it for any reason, it just felt underwhelming and lacked a lot of the crazy shots I was expecting from a Raimi film. I don’t even remember a “camera follows projectile” shot.
Maybe I should give it another chance. I think I went in wanting to watch a Raimi film and got surprised with a Marvel movie. Perhaps my enjoyment would have been greater had I expected just another Marvel movie.
Still, after seeing Everything, Everywhere, All at Once, I don’t know if any other multiverse movie will scratch that itch the same.
At the same time, I felt it landed somewhere between the middle and either extreme above.
Gotta admit, I’ve been curious about this one.
This image looks like some intern at RT needs help
Me on me first day acting like I don’t need help with the printer:
Nice, I didn’t know Raimi was still making movies.
I see RT and I downvote.
Whats up with rt? Anything I should know?
iPhone face though?
…by critics…which is like asking a duck to do your taxes.
Edit: critics gave the rings of power high marks too.
For comparison, and adding to your comment, tge second season of The Last of Us has a higher score than this.
