Being adult is when you can eat a whole cake for dinner but knowing exactly why you shouldn’t

Reminds me of an old meme that said when you’re a kid, having Mcdonalds for dinner is a victory, but when you’re an adult it’s a loss.

I had awful menstrual cramps the other day and my husband made bread pudding for dinner. It was incredible

My mom would sometimes serve sweet pancakes for lunch. Even as a kid, I didn’t really like it - it’s tasty, but it just doesn’t fill you up well.

Don’t worry, make it to middle age and it feels great again.

That’s just because your parents drill it into you that you should feel bad for essentially eating a reward when you haven’t earned it.
