Don’t respond to hot takes on here that piss me off too much. I don’t need to make a fool of myself having an extended back and fourth arguing with someone that completely doesn’t share my worldview and is not being polite about it. I have enough mental health problems and every time I get into an internet argument it makes it a lot worse.

If you post more than lurk (or even do just posting and no lurking) its a bit easier because you get to sort of curate your audience and its expectations way more.

Honestly, i spend little to no time actually lurking, I think Lemmy for me is less lurk-friendly because the content is still relatively small-pipeline compared to like Reddits possible subreddit audience sizes but I’m also very intentional reader when it comes to new content I feel like wading thru
