    After major investment, NBCUniversal is hoping that its streaming service can pave the way toward declining losses over time.

    Imagine if your mega-corporation’s ambitions were “declining losses” rather than making profits.

      Except Netflix is never going to get the deals it got in the early streaming era; Netflix even made it part of their strategy.

        Sorta. It’s simple business math, run off your low-paying customers, keep the big spenders. Would you rather service 10 customers for $100/ea. or 100 customers for $10/ea.?

            Looked into that but their privacy policy was pretty offensive and not kosher. I’ll continue sailing the seas, thank you. No one collecting my data there to sell.

              My big problem with them is that they allowed tankies like SecondThought on their platform for way too long.

              I realize they were kicked off the platform a year or so ago, but I can’t really find the energy to sign up again
