First of all, they were announced before tariff rates but importantly it’s also a complete tossup if they’ll be in place by the summer and in what form. If they remain as they are then I think Americans will be paying noticeably more for their consoles and games.
It’s hard for me to believe that Nintendo wouldn’t have taken into account the possibility of tariffs when deciding on pricing. Trump has only been talking about them for over a year.
