In my opinion, probably yes. If that information being made public is likely to make people feel uncomfortable, then its probably unethical.

Not only do I believe this to be ethical, but I demand a ticker on the top of every page that alerts us every time someone blocks something. Imagine just seeing “[email protected] has blocked [email protected]” five hundred times because I keep blocking and unblocking my alts to annoy the entire fediverse. My utopia…

Get SSDs. Lemmy is heavy as fuck. I wish Piefed had existed when I set up my instance.
Both, nearly always advantageous to use SSDs as a cache pool with the heavy storage on HDDs.

Unfortunately, there’s a lot of NSFW that’s not porn that I do want to see. Typically just some text.
On the other hand, spam bots seem to always mark their posts NSFW for some reason.
