The orange could not get even that right - usa is taken by russia and russia is slowly taken over by china.
Oceania, Eurasia, and East Asia.
(Oceania in this case being the USA’s domain, not China’s. When Nineteen Eighty-Four was written, the area consisting of Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, etc. was more commonly known as Australasia).
Australia competes in the Asian Cup, and in Eurovision. Whichever hegemony ends up with world domination, you can count on us joining them too.
We’re playing both sides so we always
come out on topsuck the dick of whoever is telling us what to doLots of dick sucking happens during Eurovision already.
Which year is it?
1984 I think
Don’t be distracted. Epstein files!!!
Except this is a continuing of American imperialism not a “distraction” i hate this constant saying.
The parroting of this line whenever the US commits an atrocity makes me furious. It’s a dark reminder of how little people value the lives of others.
The universe revolves around Americans. /s
Right now the Epstein files are a distraction to this.
Not really. The trump/epstein files can finally topple the cheeto
Meh. Most Americans don’t care about their president being a paedo, certainly not his supporters. By now it’s been factored in.
I think what they’re mainly trying to distract from is the bad economy, inflation and employment figures.
Yes Americans care their president is a pedo they just don’t believe it
They say they don’t believe it.
I assume plenty of his supporters know he fucked teenaged girls and secretly admire him for it.
It sucks to say but it’s gotten to the point where, fuck it. We all know what he is, and roughly what he did. We also know proof won’t change anything, so fuck it. He has created somehow bigger problems to be addressed, mission accomplished I guess.
The real problem trump is distracting from was himself all along 😔
Ah yes, because the Angloid yankees are at the centre of the known universe and everything revolves around them; how revolting
(If you are rage baiting, congrats, but please use a /s in the future)
Why should the rest of the world care?
Russia’s sphere of influence is shrinking while they’re embroiled in Ukraine.
Wishing the same to any country tempted to invade neighbors.
Yup, Xi is looking to take advantage of Russia, and might just end up taking Siberia.
Oceania, Eurasia, Eastasia.
Just gotta slighty redraw the line so that Airstrip One is properly part of Oceania.
EDIT: Derp, somebody already made that comment, I need my glasses :X
We were always at war with Eurasia
This is fake I’m pretty sure. Trump only uses black Sharpie.
Don’t forget Graydon Carter of Vanity Fair and the gold Sharpie.
To this day, I receive the occasional envelope from Trump. There is always a photo of him — generally a tear sheet from a magazine. On all of them he has circled his hand in gold Sharpie in a valiant effort to highlight the length of his fingers. I almost feel sorry for the poor fellow because, to me, the fingers still look abnormally stubby.

(I think this photo is actually a reconstruction by BBC Newsbeat rather than a Short-Fingered Vulgarian original, but still).
imagine how frustrating it must be when even ones fingers are too short.
Spain and Portugal in the 1500s:
not the first map he’s edited with a marker.
Didn’t he edit a hurricane once?
Nah.
The real map would have the Mediterranean carved out for Bibi

Absolutely crazy to think Trump isn’t aggressively contesting the entire Pacific Rim, North Africa, and Eastern Europe. FFS, how many times does he need to bomb Iran or Yemen before this shit is settled? How many times does need to send Steves Banon and Miller out to Germany, Poland, and Hungary to whip support within the fascist parties? How come the common denominator between every banana republic fascist in Latin America is their Austro-Hungarian parentage and their avowed support for Israel?
Might be closer to say he’s ceding the African/East Asian Global South to the Israelis/Saudis/Qataris/UAE. But even that gives him far too much credit.
He’s not ceding Africa. Don’t forget they recently conducted air strikes in Nigeria.
In fact, Trump mentioned the weather preventing them capturing Maduro a few days ago, that would have been the 1st. The strikes in Nigeria were on the 25th.
I think the plan was to bomb somewhere on both Christmas and New Year’s day.
Maybe Trump didn’t want Santa or Jesus getting all the attention. I’m joking, but given the man’s utterly deranged, it’s not entirely implausible.
OP there was a similar map but also included a region similar to the ottoman empire and I have lost the source plus keep.screwing up when I try to tell people about it. It was something to do with a top Kremlin advisor has an actual (batshit insane) theory to do with this.
Do you remember it? It was in the very recent news and I’m almost certain its the inspiration for this meme.
Sorry no :/ But I’m sure Erdogan would love to be included in the club.
If spheres of influence were only far-right concept, it would be manageable. But no, leftists also like to yap about multipolar world. Obama didn’t do anything in 2014 when Crimea was occupied by russia because he believed in russian sphere of influence. He also defends his line of thought still https://www.politico.eu/article/ukraine-slams-us-barack-obama-for-excuses-over-russia-policy-war/
Um, Obama is/was not a “leftist”.
By his own admission, he would have been considered a republican in Reagan’s time. That interview still pisses me off.
it pisses me off. class solidarity should not be gated by international borders. it’s fine to focus your energy where you can apply it, but the idea that an imperial power should be allowed to dominate another country because it’s their sphere is bullshit.
I wonder if Trump and Putin talked about this, and Putin was OK with this in return for Trump being OK with Ukraine.
If Putin was genuinely surprised by this, as plenty of Russian milbloggers seem to think, that would seriously weaken his legitimacy. Certainly, Russia and China’s seeming inability to offer any serious support, has seriously weakened their prestige. Especially because both Russia and China have invested heavily in Venezuela’s oil industry, especially in recent years, so this is a potentially very serious blow. Why would any leader sign a deal with them now, if the Americans can just swoop in and kidnap you and your family?
On the plus side, maybe the Chinese and Russians will learn their lesson and help elect a more sensible candidate this time around. Maybe stop meddling in European politics, sowing division, and funding the invariably Trump aligned far right.
Maybe stop meddling in European politics, sowing division, and funding the invariably Trump aligned far right.
Why would they do that? Helping the European far right lead the West to its doom is a frankly brilliant play by Russia and crew. They can withstand more aggressive Western foreign policy longer than Western liberal democracies can survive with Nazis at the helm.
Not so long ago, people were also saying Russia getting Trump elected was a brilliant play.
Meanwhile, Assad’s gone. Iran’s been bombed and Trumps threatening invasion if they use violence to put down protests, and just before christmas openly supported Israel going to war with them. Venezuela’s been bombed and is being pressured to open up their oil industry to the Americans, not so long ago China signed a deal with Maduro but that’s now uncertain. Cuba’s probably next. Panama too, also not great for China. Oil prices are set to fall even further, and this is an existential threat to the Russian government. Africa? The US bombed Nigeria just before the new year. Why sign a deal with Russia or China and risk angering the US? Unlike China or Russia the can and will happily kidnap you and your family, or worse.
Sure, the European far right has received money from Russia, but you can’t buy the loyalty of mercenaries. Trump certainly isn’t particularly loyal, is he? So if the far right gain power in the wrong country, you’ll end up with recently re-armed fascist countries on Russia’s border. Fascist countries with a historical grievance against Russia, which are just as likely to seek common cause with Ukrainian nationalists. Fascists respect strength. Russia hasn’t been projecting a lot of that lately. Trump certainly doesn’t, as is obvious from how he’s treating traditional Russian allies.
Meanwhile, Japan’s defense budget just hit a record for the tenth year running and they’re seriously considering acquiring nukes. Nuclear proliferation is likely. South Korea may be next. Hell, Poland’s defense budget also keeps hitting records, they all seem to virulently hate Russia, and both Tusk and Duda are on record as saying Poland MUST acquire nuclear weapons. To quote Tusk: “Poland must pursue the most advanced capabilities, including nuclear and modern unconventional weapons.” They don’t have the means to do it soon, but that kind of rhetoric from an antagonistic neighbour isn’t great.
TLDR: it’s a huge gamble. We often overestimate the abilities of people who were simply lucky. Putin is no different. He takes risks, sometimes it pays off. If Russia had managed to capture Zelensky in the initial three day invasion, we would all have called him a tactical mastermind. But it still wouldn’t have been true. It would have been a dangerous gamble and him having had luck wouldn’t have changed that fact. Now that he lost that gamble, and we’re on day 1412 on a three day miltary operation, it’s even more obvious. His meddling in European and American politics is no different.
On the plus side, maybe the Chinese and Russians will learn their lesson and help elect a more sensible candidate this time around.
You say this as if either of those countries had free and fair elections. Putin has been jailing everybody who could stand a chance to run against him, and in China everything is under the CCP.
Sorry, you misunderstand.
Help elect more sensible candidates in the US election. Obviously Xi and Putin aren’t going to ever lose an election.
